Day 01 London – Channel Crossing – Brussels
Morning departure from London into Kent for your Channel
crossing to the Continent. Here you will be met by your tour
director and touring coach to continue to Brussels for
overnight.
Day 02 Morning in Brussels - Visit the Hague – Amsterdam
Area
Brussels, the modern centre of the EU, still has its old
world charm and you’ll have time for optional sightseeing.
In the afternoon drive through Dutch dyke country to The
Hague before continuing to the Amsterdam area for overnight.
Day 03 Morning in Amsterdam – Cologne – Rhineland
Amsterdam, delightful city of 1000 bridges. In the morning
enjoy an included visit to a diamond cutter’s workshop. In
the afternoon travel southwards passing Cologne into the
lovely landscapes of the Rhineland for overnight.
Day 04 Rhineland – Lake Lucerne.
This morning begins with an included Rhine cruise with some
legendary sights including the Lorelei Rock when cruising
from Boppard to Oberwesel. Rejoin the coach to drive south
into Switzerland for two night in the Lake Lucerne area.
Day 05 Lake Lucerne
Morning in Lucerne for an included orientation taking in the
impressive city walls, a covered wooden bridge and the Lion
Monument – a masterful stone sculpture in honour of the
heroic Swiss guard of Louis XVI. Don’t miss an optional
cable car ride to the summit of Mount Titlis for some
spectacular views of the Alps.
Day 06 Lake Lucerne – Paris
Vistas of green pastures and attractive chalets with rustic
timbering and luxuriant flowers. Than into France and past
some of its most famous vineyards to Paris. Arrive in time
to enjoy the optional cabaret show.
Day 07 In Paris
A day to explore this exciting city. Your included
sightseeing with local guide starts with an inside visit to
the Notre Dame cathedral, then many of the best-known
Parisian sights; La Sorbonne, Boulevard St. Germain, Eiffel
Tower, Opera, Champs Elysees and the optional visit to
Montmartre and then a farewell dinner.
Day 08 Paris – Channel Crossing – London
A last look at Paris as you drive north to the French coast
for your return crossing. Return to London for an evening
arrival.
